4.7 / 5 · 60 totalTerrible after-sales service. Our solar system stopped working and despite multiple calls and messages, the company either didn’t respond, said they were too busy, or failed to show up when they said they would. Communication was extremely poor, and at one point we were even told we had “missed our chance” after trying to confirm an appointment. We were left with a non-functioning system for months and had to organise another provider ourselves. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
The company presents professionally, great price and service during the sale process. The install was unknowingly completed poorly, the products used were temperamental and not favored by the industry (my fault for not researching, Energy Partners fault for not educating). The after sales service was dreadful once we experienced an issue. Poor communication and 3 months of extremely high power bills while system was down. I was instructed to "find someone else" by Energy Partners CEO. I promptly did and was shocked to hear the feedback on the product and install we received from Energy Partners. The items that failed are still under warranty but couldn't get the help we needed to have this actioned, replaced and rectified. I ended up paying out of pocked but received fantastic help and service from another company.
Had EV charger and battery installed about a month ago. Initial issues with EV charger not tracking excess solar but sorted out with solar edge eventually. Although everything works (which is why it isn’t 1 star) I’m very disappointed with the installation of the bottom of the battery cable entry as it’s not secured on and has a gap which is prone to rodents getting in. For a company that sells itself as a tier 1 installation mob this was the kind of thing I was hoping to avoid by choosing them, dodgy installation. They’ve replied saying it’s a solar edge issue but at the end of the day I’ve paid them of for a professional and it’s been over a month now where I’ve been mostly fobbed off you’d think they’d own some sort of ownership of the issue to rectify it but nope. See picture and decide for yourself if you would be happy with this. After multiple complaints the owner told me to “just push it back up by hand” which I did and achieved nothing, continues to ignore my requests for help and pass it off as a minor issue that should be ignored. After this experience I would not recommend.
We contracted Energy Partners to install solar on four properties we own in 2024. Unfortunately one of the inverters stopped working a couple of months ago. Having dealt with Jay during installation and finding him super helpful, it has been disappointing that he is ‘too busy with battery installations’ to be of any help to us now. Poor after sales service, or am I expecting too much!?
I recently went through Energy Partners to install a 6.6kW solar system on the roof of our home. The CEO, Jay, was incredibly enthusastic and helpful. He took the time to assess our energy needs and provide a range of options to meet those needs (i.e., to reduce our energy bills and save money over time). We were quoted a price for our solar system that was on par with average prices based on other site aggregators. Overall, the installation went well and was completed in a single day. The installers made sure to grind the feet of the solar brackets so that they fit snugly onto our tiled roof; and their electrician Brenden was super friendly and did a good job rewiring our home. All-in-all, I was satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this company to others. You pay a little more to go through them, but you can be rest assured that these are solar installers who take pride in their business and are there for the long haul.
We wanted a SolarEdge solution and chose Energy Partners who are a preferred installer. We were very pleased with the quote process with Jason spending time with us explaining how SolarEdge works and walking through the design with us. We were also very pleased with the installation with Jason's team who kept us informed on the progress and later handover. Couldn't be happier and looking forward to adding a SolarEdge battery to our system in the coming year.
I did quite a bit of research on qualifications and ratings for Residential solar suppliers and came up with Energy Partners and one other company on the Gold Coast that were literally the only ones in SE QLD that satisfied the design and consumer qualifications that I wanted. They were also one of the few Australian made Tindo Solar installers (we chose another panel in the end). Jason and his staff were the chosen company and didn't disappoint. Our electrician on site even commented (and he was a qualified solar installer) "These guys were very good". I have no hesitation recommending this company for any solar installation, residential or commercial as I am now using Energy Partners for a couple of Commercial projects after this experience.
