I really wanted to take advantage of the federal government battery rebate before it finished in May 2026, and Ron assured me the installation would be completed before the deadline and he delivered! Ron has incredibly detailed knowledge. He simplified the pros and cons of various products and even evaluated our last few bills to provide a clear ROI, which made our decision so easy. The installation was handled in a highly professional manner. The electricians and the whole team were polite and happy to answer all my questions before they started. Paid a deposit for a new system with promises of an install in 6 weeks. No communication from their end and each time I chased them up they just had some excuse for a delay. Eventually after 4 months they cancelled the contract as they couldn't install before the government battery rebate reduced. Very disappointing all round.

I had a really positive experience with Ron and the team at SunSolar. They provided by far the most competitive quote for our BESS installation, but what really stood out was their strong focus on electrical and fire safety. It was clear from the outset that they prioritise doing things properly rather than just getting the job done quickly. When they attended our home to carry out the installation, they identified that our property falls within a flood risk area, which meant the installation couldn’t proceed safely. While this was disappointing for me, I genuinely appreciated their professionalism and honesty in making that call. Importantly, they handled the situation with courtesy and integrity, and processed my refund promptly without any hassle. Overall, I would highly recommend Ron and the SunSolar team for their transparency, safety-first approach, and excellent customer service. I hope to still engage with Ron and Sun Solar in the future as new options come into the market.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Initially, it was agreed that the solar installation would be completed within 4 to 5 weeks. However, after paying the deposit, there were unnecessary delays. It was only when I requested a refund that things suddenly moved quickly and the system was installed. They also quoted and charged for a canopy installation, which was never completed. The refund for this was only processed after I raised the issue myself. There were further technical problems, the inverter settings were not configured correctly during installation. Even after this was addressed, the system’s generation has been capped at 7kW, despite Energex confirming that we are allowed to export the full 10kW. I have been following up on this for nearly two months with no proper resolution. Communication has been extremely poor. Emails sent to the service team go unanswered. While Oliver has been forwarding queries, there has been no clear or effective response, and the issue remains unresolved. Overall, this has been an ongoing problem since installation, and it feels like once the deposit is paid, customer support is no longer a priority. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Communication was excellent throughout, with prompt responses to any service calls or questions. The installation itself was clean and professional, and they made sure to leave the place tidy afterward. They clearly explained how the system works, which made it easy to understand and start using right away. The job started on time and was completed exactly as scheduled—no delays or surprises. What really stood out was the follow-up call from the company after the tradesman left, just to make sure everything was running smoothly and that I was happy. Highly professional service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them—5 stars all the way!
