The whole NRG experience was outstanding. Jess came to my home and fully explained the solar and battery system that would suit my circumstances, answered any questions I had and provided a quotation, which was accepted. She took care of all the paperwork to get the process started. Zoe then contacted me to advise of the installation date and have me provide any further detail required. Stefan and his team arrived on the day and did a great job in installing the new panels and Tesla battery. Everything was left clean and tidy on completion. I can’t thank Jess, Zoe, Stefan and their teams enough for providing such professional and outstanding service. I have no hesitation in recommending NRG Solar to anyone looking at having a solar system installed.
End to end, one of the best service provider experiences I have ever had. Ultra friendly and professional. Genuine customer service, and flawless craftsmanship. We shopped around, spoke to many suppliers, but ultimately, it was a waste of time. NRG eclipsed them all on product, price, and service.
NRG installed our solar system some 10 years ago and we were impressed with the total quality approach to their installation and customer support. Recently we took advantage of the Federal Government rebate on solar batteries and we returned to NRG for advice. Their level of customer service was excellent as was the first rate quality of their electricians when installing the 3 phase battery. NRG have been an excellent customer focused company throughout our time dealing with them and are highly rated should you be in the market for solar installations of top quality products.
Recently had to deal with an App issue where the recommended App by NRG did not recognise my wireless network let alone any other wireless network nearby. My son who is a very experienced solar specialist could not get the app to identify any Wireless Network. This wireless network app was recommended by NRG Solar But did not perform as per their instructions on YouTube. We deleted the app and then re-downloaded it and it’s still Would not pick up any Wireless network whatsoever. My son advised me that I was doing everything correct and the app was essentially faulty. I rang NRG Solar assistance describing the problem as the issue. They advised that if there was a problem, I would not have to pay but if If there was no problem in their opinion, I would have to pay a fee of $250. I agreed to this on the basis That I believe the problem was with the software app they had recommended we use. Their technician visited my house but weren’t interested in the issue merely Connecting the inverter via their own equipment and not looking at the issue I actually requested them to look at. I then received an account for $250 from NRG solar. I then contacted them via email saying they did not deal with the issue I raised And would not be paying their account. Thet basically told me to get lost in their email that it wasn’t their problem yet. It was their recommended app that I was using. The response was disrespectful and basically dismissed My problem is not their problem but one with the software app. I was disgusted with their response. I received a reminder account and I replied with a similar response to that -above. I received a phone call From a lady at NRG solar who clearly did not understand the problem and was not listening to what I was saying. I became very frustrated with her because she was simply not listening to what the problem was and was really there to just decline my issue regardless. I like to deal with local company, but in all good faith I could never deal with NRG energy solar again. I have recently bought a new home , but cannot in all good faith deal with this company as they were looking to blame someone else rather than deal with my problem In my opinion, their issue should’ve been sorted out with the app company rather than with me. Incredibly disappointing and all I can do on this review is reveal the truth as it was regardless to what they might say. Please be careful when dealing with any company in particular with after sales service because that is a true measure of whether they are any good or not

Great company to deal with and very professional when it comes to assessing your actual solar needs and battery storage solutions. Designed a solar system compatible with our usage plus a bit more and then 14 months later added a solar battery that has resulted in very close to zero power bills. Very helpful staff, with experienced professional install technicians. Highly recommend.
