4.4 / 5 · 296 totalWhen the sales rep visited he had carried out detailed modelling based on publicly available data and images that gave credence to his recommendations. He offered a range of options with different costs but did not pressure me to select the most expensive. He engaged with me in a series of emails answering my questions. The system was installed on the date initially set by the operations team and has worked apparently flawlessly. There have been only two issues. 1) On the first evening I noticed the battery charging at peak rates when I had expected it to charge during the period of lower rates. A Support rep did return my call but before that I had worked it out with the help of an AI tool. 2) My electricity retailer raised a work order for 'upgrade or replacement' of my meter and it took some time to figure out that this is some automatic review of any solar/battery installation (and nothing to do with my meter). I had not been warned that this would happen: if I had been warned I might have been able to sort it out with the electricity retailer more quickly. In short, it has been a very smooth process.
Great experience across the board, from the initial sales consultation, right through to the build. Fully communicated with each step of the way, and everyone was great to deal with. Really happy with the end product, would deal with Tindo again in a heartbeat if the need arose.
On the 29 June 2026 I replaced an old and small solar system at my house. The system replaced was on my house when I bought it 8 years ago. I now have 17 of the latest 440w Tindo solar panels and a 19.2kwh battery which is working really well. We are not having to draw any energy from the grid even in the current cold weather. The service provided by Tindo has been excellent and the installation team were hard working, very efficient, very friendly and explained everything after it had been commissioned. Great work Tindo.
Very happy dealing with Tindo. Upgraded our system replacing our older panels and Sonnen battery system with new 440w panels and a Goodwe ESA all in one system. Excellent information was provided and tailored the system perfectly to our needs. On installation, tradies turned up on time and were very thorough and tidy. Explained the system and how to use the app well. Very happy with our new system. Would thoroughly recommend Tindo Solar.

Tindo recommended an installer for their panels for 2 sites in Brisbane. Despite spending $60,000, the installer did not correctly complete the job and we have had no feed-in credits for the last 3 years, costing us a further $45,000. The installer went out of business and Tindo refuses to take any responsibility to rectify the situation. We chose Tindo to support an Aussie company and deeply regret this choice. We still have $60,000 in solar panels we can't use.
