I don’t like giving reviews but this business has done such a wonderful job for me, I have to tell everyone about it. If you want solar solutions, you should get in touch with Exceed. My Tesla Powerwall2 suddenly stopped working. I tried contacting the original installer but he did not want anything to do with it. In desperation, I contacted Tesla directly who eventually told me that since it’s still under warranty, I’m eligible for a replacement. They told me if I can find an installer, it would fast track the process. Otherwise I’ll have to wait in their long queue to get an installer. I called about 10 solar businesses who all told me that they’re too busy with new installations to take on warranty installations. Eventually I contacted Exceed who was listed in Tesla’s installer list as ‘Premium Installer’. Exceed has been so wonderful since I got in contact with them. I could talk to a real person, (not a call centre) who knows what I’m talking about. The consultant actually comes to see your system, instead of asking you to send them photos. Exceed got onto Tesla pretty quickly and then scheduled my job. All the lovely young men who came to do the installation were very polite and respectful of your property. They worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. This business consists of wonderful staff, each and everyone of them respects the customer. It’s rare these days to find decent trades people. Thank you so much, Exceed. You’re a great business!

What an apt company name. They exceeded all our expectations. A previous electrician had done a dodgy job on our switch board. Exceed's sparky rectified everything and made it safe for us. They are a hard-working, respectful team. Really glad we engaged them. It's great seeing how much we're saving on bills on their handy app.

I've just had Rikky, Shaun and the team commission my system yesterday. Attention to detail was excellent, even though they ran into some complications during the process. Kept me updated and came back the next day to complete. The process started 12 months ago as this was for a KDRB, I didnt have a slab down yet but engaged with Rikky about having a solar system installed. He talked me through the options, initially without a battery. Later on, a battery system was added when rebates kicked in and they modified the quote without hassles. This job was slightly more complicated than usual as we had an existing system on our shed that was decommisioned during our rebuild but they were knowledgeable enough to be able to explain how we could go about reconnecting that given it was an different inverter than what we were now installing. Overall, highly recommended, highly knowledgeable and skilled team. Importantly if you want it done right, these are the guys to talk to as their attention to detail is second to none.

It is now 2.5 years since Exceed Solar (previously AESA) installed our system. We continue to be very happy and the system is performing to our expectations. Most notable: Exceed have given excellent follow up service both during and since the installation. We have had 2 physical components (1 x solar edge component and 1 x current transformer) go awry in the years since the installation. These things happen - no-one to fault. Most impressive though is that Exceed continue to take a keen interest in the work they have done and they came out to promptly fix things on both occasions. This is most important - ongoing interest and support from your installer is paramount. There are a few moving parts to having a solar system and trying to get satisfaction from a parts manufacturer or energy company if you have any queries can (will!!) lead to dead ends. We have found that Exceed are the people to contact first. The original quotes we got for our system (using solar quotes) were similar in terms of price. We chose Exceed Solar because it was self-evident when meeting them that they were both exacting and principled - and that has since proven to be the case. Ours is a 1950s double brick home. During the installation we were concerned about possible damage to ceramic roof tiles or to the walls (where the batteries are hung). Exceed ensured there were no problems. They handled all aspects of the installation and grid connection. At the time of quoting Exceed gave us options to consider in a way that would satisfy our needs and pockets and to work optimally with any constraints of the site. Since then, the system has performed in the way we were led to believe. In retrospect we would have had some extra panels installed on the eastern aspect of our house - this area is shaded by trees during summer, but as the trees are deciduous, if we had solar cells on this side of the house it would help generate extra power during the bit of a lull we have during winter. That said, using Amber as our energy vendor our energy bills mostly even out to just a few hundred dollars annually. We went with SolarEdge at the time as we wanted self-assurance that we could add to the system over time (eg. EV) but we haven't put that to the test. However, SolarEDGE wasn't the cheapest option and we think we would go for one of the more modular battery systems that have since become available if we had our time again. Our system includes a SolarEDGE hot water management component - we think that was the right choice as we have a resistance hot water system and want that to live out its life before thinking of a heat exchanger. Our installation included: 2 x SolarEDGE Batteries (total 19.4 kWh) + SolarEDGE inverter + SolarEDGE hot water management + Tiger Solar Panels (10.56 kW).

The team at Exceed Solar provided a highly professional and thoughtful service. Advising clearly on electricity generation optimisation, backed up by a great battery storage solution. We have been very impressed and would highly recommend Exceed Solar.
