Had 11.4kw panels, 10kw inverter and 18kw battery installed. Great experience from sales to install and post-install customer care. More pricey than other quotes, but good quality components. So far so good!
I would strongly advise NOT to use this company. We were recently told a price for the installation of a battery, which was the price agreed to at the time of the consult. The consultant had mentioned at the time that he could roll up our small existing interest free loan from our solar panels previously installed into one interest free loan which was the amount we thought we signed off on. (As it turns out this was not true and in fact could not be done at all by Think Renewables). To our surprise our new interest free loan for the battery was $2.5k higher than the price we had agreed to at the time of the consultation and did not include the roll up of the existing interest free loan as we had assumed and discussed. When we queried this with Think Renewables we were told that the price we were quoted was a “cash” price - which was never mentioned in the consult and those words “cash price” never came out of the consultants mouth. When we raised this with Kylie Keane the “Customer Experience Manager” we were told that we had agreed to the interest free loan amount not the cash price - which considering we were not presented the two options is untrue. On advising we would need to escalate this to the Department of Fair Trading to come to a resolve, Kylies response was almost baited that she would await an update from them rather than deal with the issue at hand. There was absolutely no intent to resolve our issue The sales technique seems to be geared to making quick one off sales with no genuine regard to ethical business practices. We are now pursuing this via the Department of Fair Trading. Further, as it turns out we were ill advised from the consultant on the of the size of the battery we would require, as it is now apparent that it is too small for our needs and is totally depleted over night with no charge available in the morning. There is clearly no expertise from the sales team. Please be careful when dealing with this company.
Excellent service from Abdul Nexus electrical Team for doing great job on our solar and battery installation from Think Renewable. Neat job and great electrician team. Very polite and helpful with all the information and providing help with the app on my mobile phone. Even my neighbour who is electrician compliment the job that they have done. We had solar and battery installed by Think Renewable at our home in Woy Woy Bay and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial quote through to installation, the team were professional, punctual, and clear about what to expect at every step. Corey’s team did a great job, the install was clean, efficient. They took the time to walk us through how the system works and answered all our questions. Would highly recommend Think Renewable to anyone in the Central Coast considering solar. Five stars.
