Update on my original review..... once we have had the right person looking into our situation, everything changed in a positive way. Original post ....... It would be great if Select would even return calls to help sort out the issues we are having. Installed new 10kw solar and 27kw battery system and our usage triples. Quick to take your money. After service absolutely disgusting. Lost count of the number of calls and emails
Product great but install went badly and it took 3 weeks to totally fix the issue. Have had to make contact repeatedly to get subsequent issues addressed. After sales service needs to be worked on.
I had a great experience with Select Electrical. The team was efficient, turned up right on time for the installation, and got everything done without any hassle. Really friendly and easy to deal with, and you can tell they know what they’re doing. Would definitely use them again.
We used Select for a solar and battery solution at our new home. We received a pragmatic solution without slimy sales people that we encountered at other providers. Select were competitive on price, and provided a reasonable turnaround. Very happy with the outcome. Thanks to Bernard for the solution and to Connor and the team who installed it all on the day.
Our body corporate recently engaged Select for a rooftop solar installation. As an apartment complex, the quoting and approvals processes were no doubt more complicated than for other jobs and we appreciated Select's assistance and patience in providing and explaining their quote to us. The service from quote to installation was professional, responsive and at that stage we would have happily recommended the company. However, as other reviewers have said, the after sales service has unfortunately been very disappointing and challenging. We have been waiting for a month for Select to provide handover information and warranties, and for rows of missing roof tiles to be replaced. While I understand delays can occur, my issue is the lack of communication. Select have not responded to multiple follow-up emails asking for updates on these issues. I have reached the team via phone a few times and have been promised updates or the tile replacement 'in a few days' or 'that week', which then passes without action or update. Following up via phone and email is starting to feel like a part-time job for me. I'm hoping the outstanding issues will be resolved soon to complete the job. I will provide an update to my review if so. *Edit - after I passed on my concerns to Select regarding timely communication, it improved and they resolved the outstanding issues. I have reflected this in changing my review from 3 to 4 stars. Thank you Select*
