After a long 4-month wait, I finally had my Sungrow battery system installed by Mondiaux today, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I’ll admit I was a bit apprehensive given some of the recent negative reviews regarding delays and communication online, and I understand that running a business comes with its ups and downs. However, the installation crew completely turned my experience around. The workmanship done by Aman and Prashanta was absolutely outstanding. They were professional, precise, and incredibly neat with the conduit and overall layout in my garage. The quality of their work speaks for itself, and I genuinely couldn't be happier with the final setup. To the team at Mondiaux: you have some excellent assets on the ground with Aman and Prashanta. Keep up the fantastic work and high standards on the tools! Highly recommended for the quality of the actual install.

Very happy with our solar installation. Aman and Prashanta were excellent. It was a relatively large job over three days and they came when they said they would, worked well, were very pleasant and cleaned everything up exceptionally well at the end of each day. The final product is neat and well constructed. And, most importantly, it works well. The only downside with the whole operation was less than ideal communication from the company as installation occurred about five months after we were promised. They always responded to our queries but the responses were unconvincing - just it will happen next month. On the plus side though, the company only charged the amount originally quoted (although the government rebate had been reduced) and they upgraded us to a more powerful inverter at no cost. So, overall, we're happy.

I paid a deposit to Mondiaux Pty Ltd in November 2025 for the supply and installation of a battery system at a property in Canberra. No work was carried out. Over a period of several months, attempts to contact the company by email and phone were unsuccessful, and the phone numbers provided were disconnected. Following a formal Letter of Demand, the company confirmed in writing that a full refund would be provided. Bank details were supplied as requested. As of April, no refund has been received. A claim has been lodged with ACAT and complaints have been raised with relevant authorities. This review reflects my experience.

Quite happy with the installation after getting the installers to attend to some work that require further attention post-installation. They provided some discount considering the late installation as well.

This has been a horrendous experience with Mondiaux Solar. They are absolutely terrible—if there were a stronger word to describe them, it still wouldn’t be enough. We ordered a battery and waited almost a year, yet we received no updates at all—no emails, no calls, nothing. This level of communication is extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, their main contact number wasn’t even working, which caused us significant stress. We genuinely worried the company might disappear and take our money with them. After several months of constant follow-ups, someone finally came and installed the battery on the wall—but it was never connected. After that, we heard nothing—no follow-up, no schedule, no explanation. We had to chase them ourselves, calling multiple numbers until someone finally answered—only to find out they weren’t even aware that the battery had already been installed. How is it possible that their office had no record or report of the installation? We had to explain everything again from the beginning. They then gave us a date to complete the installation, but when the time came, no one showed up. Once again, we had to follow up. It was only when we threatened to cancel and go with another company that they finally turned up. To make matters worse, when it came to payment, they were quick to demand it ASAP, yet their service was extremely poor and far from urgent on their end. It also appears that the company does not take care of its staff and may be understaffed, which reflects in their poor service delivery. Additionally, the finance team was very rude—there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no effort to offer any form of compensation. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. They do not give you peace of mind at all. They may seem affordable, but the service is truly poor—too good to be true. Avoid this company if you don’t want to go through the same stressful experience we had.

Honestly, it took forever. I signed the contract last October and only got the system installed last week. I was getting really anxious because the rebates kept dropping. But Joe was super patient and helped sort out all the installation issues. Mondiaux also kept their word — they gave us the compensation they promised and covered the rebate loss. The installers were good, and Ramesh from after-sales has been really helpful too. So yeah, long wait, but at least they made it right in the end.

I hate to say it but Mondiaux Solar really let us down. Pre-sale communication was excellent but after that point the experience was awful. We had damaged parts arrive, a technician showed up unannounced one day in my backyard, communication was non-existent and we were misled on multiple occasions around timelines of installation. The protective battery canopy I paid for wasn't installed until three months after the battery installation and I barely received an apology. Mondiaux just claimed they were distracted as one of their staff had stolen money. The solar panels and battery appear to be fine so far but the stress of being a Mondiaux customer wasn't worth it. Would not recommend to friends or family.
