12 Volt Solar Systems

12 Volt Solar Systems is a family-owned and operated business with over 15 years of experience. The business operates a workshop and showroom in Hervey Bay, where it manufactures lithium batteries. It offers custom-made lithium battery systems in 12V, 24V, and 48V, and provides solar power system installations on caravans, campervans, boats, trailers, small sheds, and workstations.

The business stocks brands including Victron Energy, Redarc Australia, Enerdrive, Dometic, Safety Dave, Uniden, Sirocco Fans, Curtech Solar, and SolarKing. Products are sold through an online store, at the Hervey Bay showroom and workshop, and at events across Queensland. Services include caravan and motorhome 12V systems, lithium battery systems, inverter installations, solar systems, Starlink installations, dual battery systems, electric brake controllers, Anderson plugs, and wiring for towing.

Reliability and friendly, expert help are the themes that surface most often in feedback about this Hervey Bay business, with owners Dean and Yolanda singled out repeatedly for the care they show customers. Reviewers describe problems with solar and DC charging systems, inverters and batteries being diagnosed and repaired on the day, sometimes within an hour, and they consistently note that the advice given was accurate and saved them money after earlier poor guidance elsewhere. Several accounts mention the neat, tidy standard of workmanship on caravan, van and boat fit-outs, including fridge vent fans and deep cycle battery replacements, along with competitive rates and quotes described as fair and reasonable.

Communication stands out as well, with customers recalling patient explanations of apps and pre and post-sale follow-up calls, plus guidance offered over the phone to travellers installing equipment themselves. The range of 12 volt gear and auto electrical work available is another point that comes up often, as is the welcoming atmosphere created by the couple and their dog. Genuine willingness to go beyond what was asked, and to fit urgent jobs in without fuss, leaves customers saying they would return for their caravan, car or boat power needs.
