Battery World Hervey Bay

Battery World is an Australian battery retail franchise. Its parent company, Century Yuasa, was established in 1928. The first Battery World store opened in North Queensland in 1997, and the network now operates over 115 stores nationwide. Battery World has been in operation for 28 years and sells Century and Yuasa batteries.

Battery World Hervey Bay is located in Pialba, Queensland, and offers services including battery testing, battery fitting, roadside car battery assist, battery recycling, remote and fob battery replacement, watch battery replacement, and phone battery replacement. The fitting service is only available for batteries purchased from Battery World and during business hours in store only.

Drivers, caravanners, motorcyclists and owners of electric vehicles in the Hervey Bay district describe a battery store that handles problems quickly and without fuss. Several customers mention that a mobile fitting service reached them at home or on the road shortly after a call, in one case within the hour and in another barely fifteen minutes after arrival, with a replacement completed on the spot. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the depth of advice on battery types and the correct match for a specific vehicle, including a Can-Am Spyder and a motorbike whose fault was resolved straight away.

A point made in several accounts is the helpfulness and knowledge of the team, with Trent named for professional work on an electric car that others had struggled to diagnose. Fair, reasonable pricing for both the battery and the fitting recurs, as does the absence of pressure to buy more than was needed. Customers note that staff explain the options clearly, that nothing seems too much trouble, and that even an out-of-the-ordinary breakdown is met with clever thinking and a tidy result. Many describe themselves as return customers.
