Customers of Solar Power Nation frequently describe a fast path from first enquiry to switch-on, with several battery quotes and paperwork turned around within a week. Sales contacts such as Henry, Rajiv C and Mac are named for handling sizing and consultations without pressure, while installer Ali is mentioned repeatedly for explaining inverter coupling and battery placement before walking customers through the monitoring app. A larger fit-out of 20 panels, a 10kW inverter and a 25.6kWh battery, completed by installer Pankaj, drew praise for a tidy site and clear handover, and after-sales contact Sarah is credited with prompt paperwork and follow-up calls. Some reviewers report the quoted price rising after signing, with unexpected extra charges and a sales approach that felt more pressured than expected. As a solar installer in Sydney, Solar Power Nation holds a 4.5-star average from 3357 Google reviews.

4.5 / 5 · 3357 totalI had a fantastic experience with Solar Power Nation. They recently installed a battery system at my home, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. The installation team arrived on time, completed the work to a high standard, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What really impressed me was their customer support. The solar system on my home had originally been installed by them for the previous owner, and even though I wasn’t the original customer, they were more than happy to help me with questions and provide support for the existing system. That level of after-sales service and commitment is hard to find. The battery installation has been working perfectly, and I’m very happy with the overall outcome. I highly recommend Solar Power Nation to anyone looking for a reliable company for solar or battery installations. Their professionalism, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service truly set them apart. Special thanks to Neel and the team.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience. The battery at my rental property was installed in a position that significantly obstructs the walkway. I raised my concerns with Solar Power Nation as soon as the issue became apparent. I was even willing to contribute towards the cost of relocating the battery to reach a fair solution. In addition, after the installation, debris and leftover materials were left at the property, which created further inconvenience for my tenants. Despite raising these concerns, I did not receive an apology or acknowledgement regarding the condition the site was left in. The after-sales team advised me that their installers are currently unavailable and they are unable to carry out the relocation. They also advised me not to use a third party without their approval, as this could affect warranty and system compliance. This leaves me in a difficult position—I have a battery installed in an unsuitable location, the company cannot currently relocate it, and I am limited in my options to resolve the issue. I believe this situation could have been avoided with better planning and communication before installation. I was prepared to work with the company and even contribute towards relocation costs, but I expected a more customer-focused approach and support after installation. Good after-sales service is measured by how a company responds when problems arise. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing, and I hope Solar Power Nation will take responsibility and provide a fair resolution.
Were happy with installation process although took longer than expected as everyone was taking advantage of governement rebate. However 12 months on have just found out the batteries are not compliant with Australian code/standards in relation to our gas tank. Have had one call back from company and everything has gone silent. Not happy.
Just had a solar system put in by Solar Power Nation and couldn't be more happier. Mac managed the whole process smoothly from sale to final install, and Pankaj was our installer who did an amazing job fitting 20 x 475w panels, 10kW inverter, and the 25.6kWh battery on my single-storey tile roof. Pankaj explained the layout before install and also helped us set up the solar app to monitor the inverter and battery at the end. Super neat job with all leftover cardboard boxes collected and area left clean. Also, a big thanks to Sarah in after-sales support for checking in on everything and sharing the paperwork promptly. Highly recommend them!
I cannot recommend this company based on our experience. The customer service was extremely poor, and once problems arose, we felt completely let down. We were pressured to make payment, only to be charged an extra $600 after the deal had already been agreed upon, followed by additional costs for a cover. The whole process left us feeling that the final price kept changing. We were also disappointed by the way other solar companies were criticised during the sales process. Ironically, a family member chose one of the companies they spoke negatively about and ended up receiving better treatment, a lower price, and wasn't pressured for payment. I also feel that my elderly grandma was taken advantage of through the way government rebate schemes were presented to her, which was very upsetting for our family. Overall, the experience left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. I expected honesty, transparency, and good customer service, but unfortunately that wasn't what we received. I wouldn't recommend this company based on our experience.
Very good team and a very smooth installation experience. Rajiv C was especially helpful—he supported us throughout and explained the entire process clearly. The installer was also a very nice person, and the whole installation team was very cooperative. Highly recommended. Technical team from Solar Power nation also called to support after installation.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I believe other customers should know about my experience. The installation process went well, but the real test of a company is how they support their customers after the sale. Unfortunately, this is where my experience has been very disappointing. Since reporting issues with my solar power system, I have received email responses, but despite weeks of communication, no technician has been sent to inspect or resolve the problem. As a customer, it is frustrating to be left waiting while the system continues to underperform and there is no clear timeline for a resolution. A solar power system is a significant investment, and buyers should have confidence that if something goes wrong, the installer will respond promptly with practical support—not just email correspondence. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for its after-sales service. If you’re considering using Solar Power Nation, I encourage you to carefully consider how important ongoing technical support is after installation. I sincerely hope the company improves its post-sales service because that’s what customers are paying for.
