4.2 / 5 · 30 totalSome months ago there was a problem with my solar inveder communicating with my app after hours. The boss Mark phoned me & patiently went through multiple steps to have me up & running again. 10/10 for customer service. This morning I had a similar issue & his teachings enabled me to fumble through the reconnection. I needed to access my password which he provided me again promptly. I could not recommend Mark & his team enough. So if you're in the market for roof top solar for good advise, sales & back up service give them a call
When we experienced an internal power failure at home, our first thought was that our solar batteries had failed because they had completely shut down. Unsure of the cause, we contacted Mark from Naked Energy for advice. What happened next was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite being on holiday in Thailand with his family, Mark never once made us feel like we were interrupting his time away. Instead, he willingly spent almost two hours patiently talking us through a series of checks, methodically helping us diagnose the problem. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we eventually discovered that the fault had absolutely nothing to do with our solar panels or battery system—it was an unrelated electrical issue within our home. This level of customer service is incredibly rare. Mark's patience, professionalism, genuine concern, and willingness to go so far above and beyond his responsibilities left us truly humbled. Many people would have simply asked us to wait until they returned from leave, but Mark chose to help us immediately, and we are immensely grateful. We cannot thank Mark enough for his outstanding support and exceptional commitment to his customers. His dedication reflects the values of Naked Energy as a company, and based on this experience, we would recommend them without hesitation. If you're looking for a company that genuinely stands behind its customers, look no further than Naked Energy. Their service is second to none, and Mark is an absolute credit to the business.
After a lot of research and comparing different solar providers, I decided to go with Naked Energy and I'm glad I did. One of the reasons I chose them was the Deye system they offer. After comparing it side-by-side with other products in a similar price range, I felt it offered the best balance of features, longevity and quality. There were cheaper systems available, but they came with compromises and many of the more expensive options didn't offer enough additional benefit to justify the extra cost. The install was delayed a few times due to weather, but the team always came back and made sure everything was completed properly. Mark was easy to deal with, and Bailey and Mitch (installers/electricians) were knowledgeable, answered my many questions and took care to keep the installation looking as neat as possible. What impressed me most was their honesty. When a couple of roof tiles were broken during the install, they told me immediately and replaced them without any fuss. Overall, a professional team that cares about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Happy to recommend Naked Energy to anyone considering solar.
If i could give zero stars i absolutely would. Mark the company director is extremely unprofessional and rude when you have something to complain about. We have had nothing but problems dealing with this company and its shortcomings. Firstly they supplied and installed a solar battery that did not meet the requirements we very clearly set out in the beginning (we wanted a solar battery that would supply power during a power outage, the battery they installed was not capable of doing this) after we discovered this it took weeks of back and forth with Mark and finally I had to threaten action through the department of commerce to finally get Mark to agree to fixing their stuff up. Then we discovered the solar panel installation had cause a bad leak in our roof damaging the ceiling in one of our bed rooms. To which Mark was again very hesitant to admit fault to, eventually he agreed to come and fix the leak IF we removed our bad review of the company and wrote a good one which we did. And finally the final nail in the coffin, two years after Mark himself came out to fix the leak we discovered that he had isolated half of our panels to carry out repairs of the leak but neglected to turn the panels back on! So for just over two years our solar system was operating at half capacity. When I spoke to Mark about this he was once again difficult to deal with, claiming he would never have forgotten to turn them back on. Claiming I must have done it myself or someone I had working on my roof must have done it (Naked energy are the only people that have every been on our roof since we bought the property in 2020) So in summary I would give this company a very, very wide berth. Its also worth noting that a lot of these positive reviews are from people who are employed by Naked Energy so are not genuine reviews
Initial installation of solar panels caused a leak in our roof. When they came to repair it they then forgot to turn half our solar panels back on resulting in us paying a large amount more of our electricity bills than we should have. We only realised when my husband went up to see if our panels needed cleaning as they were not generating a lot of output on sunny days. When confronted they kept trying to refuse accountability despite being the only company to be on our roof. They repeatedly ignored following up the claim until they were told that consumer affairs would be involved. Even after that they stopped responding and have not reached out for compensation for a blatant mistake on their end. Avoid at all costs.
The team at Naked Energy are very friendly and professional to deal with had my system instaled a while ago, all installation work and clean up of area left neat and tidy and now looking at adding battery system had no hesitation calling Naked Energy and the team to quote this and Carry out the work. Thank you very much to the team at Naked Energy ( highly recommened) John
I've had an off grid Naked Energy solar system installed on my boat for the last 10 months. Currently located in remote Indonesia and the system is performing very well without ever giving signs of poor performance or glitches. I can run my domestic 240v fridge, chest freezer & battery charger 24/7....and during daylight hours on anything except a full overcast day, I can also run my domestic 240v split system air conditioner. On full-sun days I am also able to run my 240v watermaker and electric hot water system if needed. It basically feels like a silent generator. Installation, quality & recommendation of materials proved to be excellent. Thanks Mark & his team.
