Recently used Lumos for a solar upgrade and battery install. Cannot fault the interactions and workmanship of Damian, Dieter and the team. From prompt responses, system messages about appointments, answering questions with ease all the way through to install and handover of my battery, I was really happy. The installers on the day had excellent attention to detail, respectful of the neighbours, cleaned up after themselves, were always on time and the communication was excellent. Damien, from Lumos Electrical & Solar, initially replaced inverters and batteries that were troublesome some years ago on a property I previously owned. During the quoting period he showed genuine interest in the problems I was experiencing with the system over a 3-year period and was determined to provide a system that worked significantly better which he did. So, when it came to installing the complete set of panels, invertor, battery and EV charger, in my new home, it was a no-brainer to get Damien and his team - Dieter, Isaac, Loghan, Mitch, Nick and Corbyn to do the work. They were extremely professional, happy, thorough, respectful and answered any question I had plus providing me with information associated with the system. A variation had to be made to the lay-out of one of the sets of panels. This was discussed with me before hand to ensure that I was happy with the change. When finished there was not a single piece of rubbish left on site. A special thank you to Dieter who, once everyone had left, went through in great detail, how the system works, set up my app and went through all the features on the app and how to use all the features. I thoroughly recommend Damien and his team to anyone looking at getting any solar work done. You will find the company very competitive and Damien genuine, caring and upfront. I had a home solar and battery option installed by Lumos and would highly recommend them to anyone. I tried to do as much homework as I could beforehand and got 4 quotes before making a decision and I have no regrets at all. It's been 7 months since Damien and his crew installed a 48kWh Sigenergy battery, 16kW of solar panels, an EVAC charger and new switchboard at my house. I picked Lumos on the basis of my neighbours recommendation (both sides), they are LOCAL, and a kerbside consultation with Damien. The quote was detailed and clear, offering recommendations and options. My experience was seamless and that includes after ongoing support and advice.
