Future NRG Ballarat

I’m leaving a balanced but honest review based on my full experience with Future NRG. The sales and installation side of the process was excellent. Communication was clear upfront, the system design was well explained, and the installation itself was smooth and professional. I had no issues at all during this stage and was very confident in my decision. Unfortunately, the experience changed significantly after installation and payment. Once the system was installed and paid for, communication dropped off almost completely. It then took over 4 weeks to arrange a solar inspector to complete the final steps required to turn the system on. During this time, my emails were largely unanswered and I had to repeatedly follow up. When I did get responses, I was told that the inspection process was handled by a third party and that there was nothing Future NRG could do to speed it up. While I understand that inspections involve external parties, from a customer perspective I expected Future NRG to manage and coordinate this process more proactively, rather than shifting responsibility. Even after the system was finally turned on, I am now 5 weeks post-install and still have not received the Certificate of Electrical Safety, which is a basic requirement and should have been provided promptly. To summarise: - Sales & installation: Excellent - Post-install communication: Poor - Project completion & follow-up: Slow and frustrating Because of the lack of responsiveness and the delays after payment, I can’t rate this higher. It’s disappointing given how strong the initial experience was. I wouldn’t use Future NRG again based on the after-sales service alone.

From Bryce’s thorough and friendly initial consult, to Jemma in the office patiently answering all my questions, and the skilled installers who did a top-notch job of our Hot Water Heat Pump – every step was handled with professionalism and care. While there were a few hiccups after the install, the team’s response was exceptional. Issues were addressed promptly, and everything was explained clearly so I knew exactly what had happened and how it had been fixed. The level of communication was first-class – something that’s rare compared to some other trades we’ve dealt with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Future NRG Ballarat and look forward to working with them again if we decide to add a battery to our property. Thank you!
