Solar Technology & Electrical (STE) were exceptional from start to finish. We recently had solar panels and batteries installed, and the whole experience exceeded expectations. The system is performing brilliantly, the installation was neat and professional, and every part of the process was clearly explained so we always knew what was happening and why. A special shout out to Luke and the wider team who were outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly thorough. Their attention to detail gave us complete confidence in the work being done. It’s rare to find a team that combines technical skill with genuine care for the customer, but STE delivered both. We highly recommend STE not just for anyone looking to upgrade to solar, but also for general electrical work. Their professionalism, communication and quality of workmanship make them an easy choice for future projects.

Great friendly and hard working team. Work was completed in a day and the installation was very tidy. Everything was cleaned up perfectly after completion.

Darren and the STE team installed a 30kw solar system with 3 Tesla powerwalls. They went above and beyond in getting it all looking great, they communicated throughout the install and made tweaks to the plans as needed to help get the best efficiency and battery use. House was treated with respect, everything cleaned up afterwards, and no dings, dents or scratches anywhere. To give you an idea of their attention to detail, you’ll see in the photos that the NBNco team installed their box bang in the middle of the garage wall during construction. This pissed Darren off no end as it meant the power walls weren’t perfectly evenly spaced, and due to the gap needed conduit run between the power walls. He could’ve just run the conduit out in the garage, or cut big holes in the gyprock to run it in the wall. But you’ll see from the photo he took the extra time to get it all run and hidden in the wall without any holes or leaving any visible issues in the plaster or paint. Can’t even tell they ran anything through the wall. He even checked where I wanted to bollards, and since I might add the powerwall expansions in the future he gave me the option to have the bollards a bit further out to leave room for battery expansion packs in the future without having to move the bollards and re-drill into the concrete. As we might add expansions in the future, that’s why the bollards are a bit further out than usual. This is the type of installer you want - one who’ll customize to what you as a client need/want. Plus they love a kebab, so they must be an alright lot. Couldn’t be happier, and would use them again. And since I know a lot of 5 star Google reviews these days are because the company offers discounts etc, no they haven’t offered me any discounts or benefits for this review. If you check the other reviews you’ll see the consistent message that they’re alright to deal with.

Darren and his team gave exceptional service and went above and beyond, even coming back twice to fix things that were not part of their contracted work. They were thorough and highly professional, and we would definitely recommend them for any solar or electrical service you would require. They are amazing and also lovely people.

Darren’s professionalism, both on the phone and on-site at our property, was outstanding. Not once, but twice, he demonstrated a level of problem-solving and efficiency that is rare to find. He came up with simple, effective solutions and completed the job thoroughly. This was our second installation at a different property, and the difference in service was clear. Our first experience left us chasing the installer to understand why things weren’t done to the same standard that Darren and his team delivered. As the saying goes, it’s hard to find good people who do the right thing and do it right the first time. Darren and his team absolutely delivered on that. And I'm confident if there's any issues or matter. Darren will be readily available.

STE are pros. They have great communication from the start with a comprehensive consult at our home to getting the quotes and they provided great and clear advice on financing options. The install day was awesome with an efficient and respectful team that got a large install done in one day and tidied up after themselves. Darren is a great person to work with who came highly recommended and did not disappoint!
