Overall quite happy with the product. The process of purchasing was easy and answered all my questions I had. The installation date was changed twice. Communiation to get an install date was pretty bad. They couldn't get everything done so the installer had to come back for a second time 1.5 weeks (was told within a week) later to complete it. The installers were amazing and they weren't told of how big of a job it was originally. Communication with the sales agents etc could be better but overall happy. Was about 2 months wait for installation. Was charged extra during installation as they needed to add more cable and concrete slabs for the battery.

The process of getting my solar panels started was a little slow, but once everything was sorted, the installation happened quickly. So far, I have no complaints. The batteries and inverter are of good quality, and they also offer great financing options. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience.

I had a solar upgrade and battery installed by Smart House Solar 10kw panels and 27.96 battery installed. The process was vey smooth with Dan Stevens and Nitin his installer in Western Australia with a very neat installation all on time and budget as quoted. The time between quote and installation was 4 weeks which is very fast as most installers were about 6 to 8 weeks. We recently had our solar system installed by Smart House Solar and the whole experience was great. Sofia was great to deal with throughout the process and very helpful in answering any questions we had. The installation by Anh was also very professional, tidy, and completed efficiently. After a very long journey, our solar and battery installation was finally completed today by Smart House Solar. Unfortunately, the overall experience leading up to installation was extremely frustrating. We originally signed up in August 2025 with a confirmed installation date of October 2025, however the installation was postponed the day before due to a medical emergency. While we completely understood this initially, what followed was more than 7 months of delays, repeated follow-ups, and ongoing promises that installation dates would be confirmed “within days” or “by the end of the week” — which repeatedly did not occur. Over this period there were multiple revised proposals, changes to products and installers, and continual uncertainty around scheduling. Most recently, we were also presented with an additional ~$3,000 increase in costs compared to the original agreed proposal, which was disappointing after such an extended delay process. Communication throughout much of the project was inconsistent, and at times we felt we had to continually chase updates ourselves rather than receiving proactive communication. That said, I do want to acknowledge Zara, who became our primary point of contact in the final few weeks of the process. Zara was responsive, helpful, professional and ultimately managed to get our installation scheduled and completed. Her communication and follow-through made a noticeable difference after a very difficult lead-up experience. I also want to acknowledge the installation team who attended site today. They were professional, polite and completed the installation efficiently once works finally commenced. I appreciate that the company ultimately completed the installation, however I do think there are significant improvements needed around project management, scheduling transparency and customer communication. Hopefully our system performs well long-term, but based on our experience customers should ensure they receive clear written commitments around timelines, products and pricing throughout the process.
