Natural Solar's reviews lean heavily on Tesla Powerwall installations, with sales contacts Rupen, Shane, Patrick McCrudden and Callum named for explaining rebate offers and battery sizing, and installers Josh, Wen, Carsun and Adam credited with neat, well-aligned battery fit-outs. Reviewers also mention panel and inverter brands including Canadian Solar and Fronius, along with help registering the inverter and setting up the monitoring app afterwards. Emmett appears repeatedly as an after-sales contact who resolved issues raised by customers, including one case completed before Christmas despite an earlier delay. Genuine criticism recurs around timing and paperwork: several reviewers describe installations taking months longer than the four-to-six-week estimate given at sale, and two mention difficulty obtaining the documents needed to claim feed-in credits or arrange warranty replacement of a faulty inverter after a change of property ownership. As a solar installer in Sydney, Natural Solar holds a 4.7-star average from 791 Google reviews.

4.7 / 5 · 791 totalWon't provide necessary documents once installation is complete. We have used Natural solar twice. Quality panels and battery and very happy with the product, but after 6 months of installation they still have not provided the necessary documents required despite numerous calls and emails. This means we can't get credits for power going into the grid. It is costing us money.
Update 2026-04-09 Multiple emails and phone calls this week. No progress. I called the Sales line to speak to someone but they just promise to get the tech team to call back. Even the support team and the hardware manufacturer suggested I find a different installer as they have issues getting though to Natural Solar **** Natural Solar – Review 1 star. Appalling after-sales support. Avoid. I purchased and had a solar system installed by Natural Solar in December 2022. The installation itself was fine, but what has followed is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. First inverter failure (October 2024) In October 2024 I began receiving overheating alerts from my Fronius Symo inverter. It took around six weeks to resolve, which was frustrating but manageable. However, during this process Natural Solar attempted to charge me for the technician visit despite this being covered under the warranty terms in my contract. They only agreed to honour the contract after I threatened to leave a negative review — at which point they became immediately responsive. I shouldn't have needed to do that, but I noted it for future reference. Telling contrast – July 2025 In July 2025 I enquired about purchasing a Tesla Powerwall through Natural Solar. Alan Bailey responded to multiple emails within the same day and was exceptionally attentive. It is clear he is capable of prompt communication — he simply chooses not to apply it to warranty matters that cost the business money. Second inverter failure (December 2025 – present) In December 2025 the replacement inverter began overheating again and downrating output. My system has been significantly underperforming for months, costing me hundreds of dollars in increased electricity bills. Since then I have sent numerous emails and made multiple calls to Natural Solar. I have spoken directly to Alan Bailey and Kai Mather on several occasions. Each time I am told the matter will be progressed. Each time, nothing happens. Fronius (the manufacturer) have been far more responsive throughout. They diagnosed the fault, sent replacement fans directly to me, arranged installation, and when that didn't resolve the issue, agreed the inverter needs a full warranty replacement. They have placed the service order and sent multiple follow-up emails to Natural Solar requesting approval to dispatch the replacement. Natural Solar have not responded to Fronius either. The only thing standing between me and a functioning solar system is Natural Solar approving a warranty replacement — something that costs them nothing except the installation labour they are contractually obliged to cover anyway. I will be updating this review every time I contact Natural Solar and receive no meaningful response. Before you commit to Natural Solar, I'd strongly encourage you to do two things: 1) Read the other reviews on this page and filter for any that mention after-sales service or warranty support. My experience is far from unique. 2) Call their customer service line. In my experience it simply rings out — it is effectively unmanned. That tells you everything you need to know about how seriously they take customers once the sale is done.
I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a system installed to minimum standards and expect any kind of after-sales support. My experience with Natural Solar for my SolarEdge inverter and Tesla Powerwall retrofit has been incredibly frustrating. I had to get a written letter from the VEC specifically pointing out that the wiring was not up to spec because the installers failed to leave enough slack in the switchboard for other electricians to safely operate. Currently, the solar circuit breakers have tripped twice this year. I have an active workmanship warranty claim, but I am getting absolutely zero response from their service team. Natural Solar has offered no assistance in getting their installer back out here to fix the integration and follow minimum safety standards. To top it off, their billing is as sloppy as their wiring. I was double-charged $385 for cement sheeting. They charged me for two sheets, but zero were actually installed or used on the job. When I brought this up, they only refunded me for one sheet ($385), meaning they have still pocketed $385 for materials that were never provided. I just tried calling both their service and finance teams to get this sorted out, and I couldn't even get through to a human. All I got was an automated "the person at this extension is unavailable" message. Once they have your money, you are entirely on your own. Avoid.
I've got the worst warranty service ever to replace a faulty inverter by a new one provided under warranty by Solar Edge. Because I was not the owner of the solar system prior moving to my property, Natural Solar tried to make me think first that their workmanship was expired, as the installers of the system. When I found the contract from previous owners, they gave me the reason. 3 months passed when I was following up with them if they arranged a crew to come home, always busy. It even expired the workmanship that Solar Edge provides under their warranty because of Natural Solar's delay. I finally gave up and I found a contractor on my own, and it took me a week to have someone home and do the job. I'll never engage Natural Solar for any kind of service.
Very poor after-sales support. My Tesla battery was installed just four months ago, and after reporting an issue two weeks ago, I have received little to no meaningful response. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and I can no longer even get through by phone or leave a message, which is extremely concerning for a company responsible for a system of this value. I have attempted to contact the salesperson Jimmy, technical support Kai, and the support manager Sachin Adipu, but have received virtually no follow-up. I was told the issue might be related to “added hardware,” even though I didn't add anything to the system. Tesla themselves provided a solution that requires the installer to attend site, yet this has also been ignored. Reliable communication and support are the bare minimum customers should expect after installation. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. Unless this is resolved promptly, I would strongly caution others to carefully consider their choice of installer.
Installation of Tesla Powerwall 3 completed and working brilliantly (the Tesla ecosystem is fantastic), however, It has been a patience testing 5 month slog to get to this point, after being told at the sales stage that the whole process would be completed and the system would be operational in 4-6 weeks. That is my biggest bug bear. The whole customer expectation experience appears to have been largely discarded for the sake of a sale. As a customer, you have no idea when or if it is going to happen at all. If they had said at the start, that the whole process was going to take 4-5 months because of the government rebate driven high demand across all of Australia coupled with the low number of Tesla certified battery installers, then i would have probably still signed up and had a much better experience. Over the 5 months, the communication from Natural solar was quite patchy, and almost all of the engagement was initiated by me. That said, they did come back to me every time i reached out. A big shout-out to the installer (Owen - Melbourne based) once he finally arrived. He and his team were terrific - done in just over half a day. They got it right first time - the inspector too was very experienced, and he got it right first time too. I am super happy now, but i certainly could have done with less stress over the last 5 months.
First Experience was fantastic - Pricing was great, the process of planning and quoting was spot on. The installers communicated well - were on time and batteries performed as expected. Second recent experience adding two more batteries was similar in planning but not in execution. After inspection I couldn't turn the system on - breaker or system disconnect open error reported....support team great to deal with but it took just shy of a month to have problem resolved and get the new batteries on. Couldn't get hold of the installers or get anyone onsite...was all worked through over the phone and online to get it fixed....happy now but went through some worrying time thinking I had spent all this money and might be left to our own devices....
