We selected Harelec after obtaining three local quotes and were very happy with the end result. We were very pleased with the installation of our 13 kW solar system, so once the new rebates came through we chose them again to install our battery. They were efficient, and accommodating of our needs throughout the process. All staff were cheerful and answered our questions thoughtfully. Based on the moderate research we conducted, the pricing and quality of materials used were very satisfactory. The system is working smoothly and should pay for itself soon enough.

It’s been 5 years in November 2024 since Harelec supplied and installed our fully off grid system when we built our new home on acreage. We continue to live fantastically with aircon all day during our hot summers, welding on farm and experiencing normal life with no issues or more importantly no ongoing cost. We decided to upgrade our solar system from 2.2 kw to 6.6 and started asking for quotes. They ranged from $12700 to about $3900, with most of the quotes coming in through phone calls back to me from foreign lands!!! Having had the experience previously of buying from a non local company where they declared themselves bankrupt 9 months later completely nulifying the warranties - before the same people started up again under a different name - we asked a local company , Harelec, to give us their quote. Theirs was very much among the lower priced quotes, with the added advantage they have been in business for over 40 years and in solar for over 10, so hardly a fly by night operator. Their reputation locally is unmatched and they are so easy to deal with. So obviously we went with their quote and BOY are we happy we did! The time from quote to installation was incredibly short and their installers arrived bang on time and were clearly experts but also very friendly and helpful. From their office staff to their installers EVERY ONE was fantastic to deal with and I can HIGHLY recommend them to anyone wanting a really good solar system with the back up of a local company that wont vanish before the warranties do

From our first initial meeting with Jamie explaining the whole system setup, the product/panels and how beneficial it would be for us as we have ducted air conditioning and a heated in-ground pool. We felt extremely safe with his professionalism on the product/s and knowledge with the whole setup. Very happy with the installation gentleman’s They explained everything, they were clean, tidy and finished the job 100% to our satisfaction. A mention is needed for Proma in the office on her endless hard work, excellent communication and friendly attitude from start to finish on everything.

Moving to solar was on my mind for many years. Once I took the first step, the process was stressful and time consuming. I contacted others, even signed up for the 'biggest' as sold by Cricket celebrities, I was very disheartened and felt very abandoned afterwards and cancelled the contract while I could still get my deposit back. Then a local recommended Haralec, I've seen it many times around town, driven past their shop and when I looked into them and spoke to them I know it was right. It felt right. The installation was seamless and very professional. They answered all my queries sand explained why certain things needed to be done according to strict industryrindustry and guidelines. The after sales service has been prompt, friendly and very valuable. My system was up and running faster than other friends who went the cricket pathway. We are so glad we invested in a quality system and the final price was competitive, but the after sales is worth way more than you can imagine. Thankyou Jamie, Tanya and the team.
