We’ve had solar panels working for us for nearly ten years. We have been very happy with the power bill savings they generated, that was until the recent round of energy price increases started to eat into the solar savings. The team at Go Solar provided us with no nonsense advice on the best way to improve on our current (excuse the pun) system. With the addition of two IQ5P batteries and gateway we are now getting the most from our solar panels, day and night. From the get go with Lewis giving us the ideas, to Kallan and the installation team putting life to those ideas, the process was easy and professional. The Enlighten App has proved incredibly useful in getting a clear understanding of our home energy usage, although my wife thinks I ‘geek’ out a bit much with it. However, it has provided a great vehicle for better energy use in our home, and that’s got to be a good thing all round. I guess in the end you get what you pay for, and you definitely get a great product and support with Go Solar. If you are looking for a solution to an energy problem at your place, give them a call. Review Update 10 July 2025. The Go Solar team have just finished installing another 12 solar panels to my home. The extra power they will generate allows for faster battery charging and will allow more power to make EV charging way more flexible. Kallan and the team were, once again, great. The initial contact and subsequent installation was easy, professional and done without fuss. The whole Enphase Eco-System allowed for a seamless integration of the extra panels and were contributing to my power generation within no time. As power bills rise I can take a little bit of relief knowing my power independence is secure. Cheers Go Solar. Let’s keep this great relationship going.
Go Solar - Excellent installation and system design…..easily to deal with and excellent communication. We had a 10KW solar system plus two 5 KW Enphase batteries and a Enphase controller installed by their very efficient, friendly crew. We are now anxiously awaiting the Enphase EV charger when it becomes available in Australia. Space allocated for the EV charger between the Enphase batteries. Thank you for the brilliant job!
What a great experience and a great outcome. So fantastic to deal with the same people from start to finish. The recommendations made were very comprehensive and actually involved Kallan on the roof - not relying on google earth; as other sales people did. Communication was excellent. My concerns and questions answered quickly and thoroughly making it easier for me to understand and make decisions. Installation by Kallan, Rob and Trevor was faultless and as scheduled. What a team! Further, they were so amenable to work around a roof restoration occurring at the same time. My system works a treat. I'm so happy. The whole process was seamless. I cannot recommend Go Solar highly enough. This local provider punches well above. Great to support a local business. Quality product and outstanding service.
The new off grid battery system is working great. The installation is first class. However, I was the person that chased Enphase about doing a deal with an exchange of batteries. One of their new batteries in exchange for our 3 older unreliable batteries. I think this is an area that you can improve your customer service. As the new owner I know that you inherited our battery problem but in the end you did get a sale on the off grid control system. All the best. David. I previously had seven 1.24Kw Enphase batteries installed. Owing to the great work by the team at GoSolar Newcastle, Enphase upgraded and replaced these batteries with two new 5Kw IQ batteries. The installation was completed seamlessly, including the hardwiring of the reporting system. Nothing was too difficult for Kallan and the team to ensure the system was installed in a timely manner and to my total satisfaction, I've dealt with GoSolar for several years now and have no hesitation in recommending them to new customers. They won't disappoint.
We had an Enphase system installed by GoSolar, Newcastle. The process from start to finish was very easy and any questions we had were answered immediately. Installation was completed seamlessly and they did a great job. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, if you are serious about having solar installed.
