Geelong Solar recently installed a system for us. They were absolutely outstanding! Really well organised, efficient and communicated everything really well. The sigenergy product is excellent. You can trust these guys, they know their stuff really well. I have been singing their praises to all who will listen. A local company with reliable service, a local office and a reputation to protect.

Great Company to deal with; they were clean, careful and efficient. We recently had an additional 5KW PV system added to our current 5 KW Fronius inverter system on a two phase house. We have a concrete tile roof and the installers were very careful with the installation. Only one concrete tile was used out of the 12 tile contingency. The previous installation by another company used up all 12 spare tiles we had on hand The interface with Citipower/Powercor was handled efficiently and with a minimum of fuss. The new GoodWe App is actually useful, it shows your input, generation and export power to the Grid. This is in contrast to the latest Fronius App that just shows power generation.

Great business to deal with. Good communication, thorough and professional. With the battery government rebates, these guys have been swamped yet continue to look after their customers and provide excellent service; and they do so with good humour. I thoroughly recommend them if you are looking for a solar array and/ or battery installation

Geelong Solar installed our solar panels very efficiently and at a good price. We then had them install a battery system to go with this. Unfortunately they installed a one phase system for a 2 phase house and the battery was of little use. When management was approached about this through discussions and in writing, nothing was done and no genuine interest shown in correcting the situation. Since then we have had to engage another company to rectify this situation.

Fantastic experience with Geelong Solar Energy (GSE) - for the second time in five years. We had a 24kW Sigenergy's SigenStor battery installed to complement our 6kW solar panel array that these guys installed in 2020. From the prompt response to my first enquiry to the final sign-off email, ensuring I had everything I needed, I always felt I was in the hands of people who know what they are doing. With the current flurry of customers rushing to capitalise on the Fed Govt's Cheaper Home Batteries Program rebates, I was wary of potential product shortages or just long waiting periods, but to their credit, GSE managed to squeeze us in before Christmas. The guys arrived at 8am and were finished by 2pm, leaving behind a very tidy battery/inverter unit and gateway (with weather cover) on our external wall. While the Sigenergy app is comprehensive and quite beautiful in its visual representation of monitoring and analysis, I am heartened that GSE are also able to monitor our system remotely in case there are any issues, and are happy to be our first port of call to provide support if needed. While I am giving them a 5/5, there is still some room for improvement, albeit small things: - I did not always get responses to enquiries, especially when we were waiting for final inspection and switch-on. - I have noticed a screw went through the wall from the meter box and into out living room plaster, creating a bump in the wall - While they take care of everything from rebate applications to organising safety inspections and paperwork lodged with Powercor (to register the job with the distributer and our electricity retailer), emails and quotes do tend to look a bit old school and unprofessional, and could do with a boost into the 21st Century. But really, these things are minor in the scheme of things. Overall, I am now a satisfied customer who is currently looking at the mySigen app as the sun continues to fill up our battery, and noticing that our daily average of grid power use has dropped from around 12kWh to 0kWh since the battery was switched on over the weekend. We've just had our 24 KW Sigenergy Battery installed by Geelong Solar Energy. It has been a seamless experience right from our preliminary discussions with Steve Moriarty through to the copybook, professional installation by Dylan and Tye. The system is working brilliantly already, with the battery fully charged just after lunchtime and the excess power being fed back into the grid. The Sigenergy app provides us with immediate, clear and comprehensive data on the system's operation so we are fully aware of what's going on. The professionalism and expertise of the team at Geelong Solar is first class. We have received very accurate and helpful advice all the way along and would highly recommend their services to anyone keen to enjoy the benefits of solar generation and storage.
