Battery World Port Macquarie

Battery World was established in 1997 with its first store in North Queensland. Its parent company, Century Yuasa, was established in 1928. Battery World has over 115 stores nationwide. Battery World Port Macquarie offers battery testing, battery fitting, roadside car battery assist, battery recycling, remote and fob battery replacement, watch battery replacement, car battery fitment, and motorbike battery fitment.

Travellers and local motorists stopping in for a battery swap make up much of the trade at this Port Macquarie store, and the feedback points to a team that solves problems rather than simply selling stock. Various customers describe walking in expecting to buy a replacement, only to have the existing battery tested and found serviceable, with a loose terminal tightened at no cost. Reviewers frequently point to how quickly a new battery was supplied and fitted, in one case within half an hour at a roadside breakdown, and in another on the spot for a five-year-old Ram that had a suitable unit already in stock.

Reece A is singled out for friendliness and helpfulness when fitting a battery into a Holden Cruze after two other retailers could not supply the part. Competitive pricing, prompt fitting and knowledgeable advice come up again, alongside staff who take the time to test battery health before recommending a purchase. Travelling customers in particular note that their predicament was attended to immediately, with professional and fairly priced work getting them back on the road without delay.
