Battery World Dubbo

Battery World Dubbo is a local battery store in Dubbo and part of the Battery World franchise. The franchise's parent company, Century Yuasa, was established in 1928, and its first store opened in 1997 in North Queensland. Battery World has over 115 stores nationwide and has been operating for 28 years.

Battery World Dubbo sells car batteries, 4WD batteries, motorbike batteries, marine batteries, lawn, golf and mobility batteries, and truck batteries. It offers battery testing, battery fitting, roadside car battery assist, battery recycling, remote and fob battery replacement, watch battery replacement, car battery fitment, and motorbike battery fitment.

Vehicle batteries and the wider range of stock around them are what customers highlight at this Dubbo store, with automotive, camping and general electronics needs all covered. Several reviewers describe how a dead or failing battery was sorted quickly, including one instance where staff drove out to a stranded vehicle, tested the old unit, found it unsalvageable and fitted a fresh battery on the spot.

Friendliness and courtesy recur throughout the feedback, and both Tash and Jared are singled out by name for the help they provided. A recurring point is the accuracy of advice on the right replacement, even for less common rechargeable lithium ion types, along with an accommodating approach to returns when a part did not suit. Pricing is repeatedly characterised as fair for the quality supplied.

The professionalism of employees who attended a call-out in heavy rain drew particular admiration, and installation workmanship is described as sound, with vehicles returned to full working order after a warranty claim was resolved without difficulty. That readiness to assist both before and after a sale, from tracking down an unusual battery to honouring a warranty replacement, is the theme customers keep returning to, with the follow-through on warranty matters standing out as much as the initial sale.
