Go Green Energy - Solar Power Cairns

Excellent service. Installed both solar panels and batteries. Two weeks after installation we had a blackout in our area for over 4 hours but our battery backup immediately took over and we used all appliances as normal while the rest of the street was in darkness.

Trustworthy professional service from quote, to install and follow up, great to deal with a local company. System is working beautifully, minimal hassle. Thanks to Rob and the team for explaining clearly every step of the way. Very happy customer.

Rob and his team were excellent. Their customer service was far and away the best I had in getting quotes. The whole team were very professional and did an outstanding job. Would recommend this quality business to anyone. Well done.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for GO Green Energy Cairns I recently had a BYD battery system installed at my home by GO Green Energy Cairns, and I’m extremely happy with the service. From the first consultation through to installation, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Rob, took the time to clearly explain all the options available and made sure I understood the system and what would best suit my household needs. His honest advice and knowledge gave me confidence in choosing the right setup. The installation team was punctual, efficient, and completed the work to a very high standard. They left everything neat and tidy and made sure the system was fully operational before leaving. Since installation, the BYD battery has been performing perfectly and helping me maximise my solar energy use while lowering power costs. I highly recommend GO Green Energy Cairns to anyone looking for reliable service, quality workmanship, and genuine customer care.

We used Go Green Energy to replace an existing solar inverter and install a battery system to suit our future needs. Every person we interacted with was friendly, professional and very helpful. Rob took the time to answer our questions, the installation team turned up on time, consulted with us during the process and left everything very clean. Nick and the admin team were very responsive, and the customer service is some of the very best I have experienced. I would definitely recommend Go Green Energy for a similar service and we will be using them again if needed.

When I first phoned Go Green Energy I spoke to Rob, who was very knowledgable and took time to explain my options to me, with pros and cons. He's not just a salesman - he's a technical person. I'm an engineer and I like to know the details. My next interaction was with Josh, the system installer. Josh and his team are thorough, personable, well organised and obviously pride themselves on their work. After completion of the installation, my comms have been with Courtney, who is friendly, helpful and always timely in responding. So, top service from my first phone call. Go, Go Green!

We worked with Go Green Energy and Robert O’Bree for our solar installation and had a very positive experience. It was a large complex install, with batteries and interfacing with a large existing system which I was worried would cause troubles. Robert took the time to understand our property, our energy use, and has intimate knowledge of Cairns area before recommending a system. It didn’t feel like a generic quote — the setup was clearly designed with our situation in mind. After about a month of running the system, the performance has been exactly where it should be. It’s clear the configuration was well thought through and tuned for the region and our property. That gave me confidence that Robert knew what he was doing and that we could trust his advice throughout the process. Communication was straightforward and the installation itself was neat and professional. Overall, I appreciated that the focus was on designing a system that would work well long term, rather than just maximizing panel count. I’d recommend Go Green Energy and Robert O’Bree if you’re looking for someone who understands solar and takes the time to set the system up properly.
