Hired to quote on adding 1 additional circuit breaker for the power points in the kitchen. Was charged a $250+GST standard callout fee (that I wasn't aware of prior), for a technician to spend 10 minutes looking at the house and meter box and getting me to turn appliances on. Stated "it's a lot of work to add a breaker" and recommend upgrading the existing breakers and not upgrading the house wiring. I asked for a quote for both options, neither quote was provided and the invoice was sent to me for $250+GST. I rang to address the issue and after some discussion with Rob he suggested he send out another technician in the next couple of days that would result in another callout fee.
