RURAL GREEN ENERGY in Bathurst was contacted about two quoted jobs, the first being a ground mount solar replacement at a remote rural property, with a new system combining 16 kW of photovoltaic panels and 40 kW of battery storage. The stated aim was whole-of-house backup during blackouts, essential in an isolated setting.
According to the customer account, the outcome differed from what was discussed: backup was limited to a single power point intended to run a water pump by extension cord, and monitoring was unavailable roughly 15 metres from the house. The account describes the arrangement as not ideal and inconsistent with the earlier discussions, with the ground mount and battery work the focus of the job.

n August 2025 I made contact and was quoted on two jobs. 1st job replace ground mount solar at residence and install new system with Batteries 16 kw pv + 40kw batteries. We were meant to have a system that powered the house when we get black outs, rural remote property This was changed to a power point where I can plug a cord into to get the water pump working. NOT IDEAL. Not what was discussed. There is no monitoring available 15m from the house and the WIFI as I was told on many occasions there would be, so I cannot monitor my power use at all. Quoted and invoiced on the 9th of September and paid in full on12th of September. Job finished 18th of December. Not completed to my satisfaction. 2nd - Increase batteries on existing system in business, currently have 16kw and was going to increase it to 60kw. I was invoiced on the 9th of September 2025 Paid 33% deposit. This job was to provide batteries and plug them into a new fully compliant existing structure very simple job. To this day 13th March there has been no progress. They have not returned phone calls for the last 3 months. I am still waiting for my deposit back . Hide Details
