Highly recommend Newy Solar Co⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alex and the brilliant crew at Newy Solar Co just completed a massive energy upgrade on our home. They installed new AIKO solar panels, a GoodWe ESA battery tower, and completely upgraded our consumer mains electricity connection. Having one highly competent local team handle the grid/mains upgrade and advanced solar deployment made the entire project stress-free. The workmanship is incredibly neat. The AIKO panels look ultra-premium, and the GoodWe ESA all-in-one cabinet keeps all the heavy wiring completely hidden inside a clean tower design. The battery storage capacity backed by a modernised mains supply, our house is fully future-proofed and running virtually independent from the grid. We are extremely happy with the job that Newy Solar has done to install/upgrade our existing solar/battery system. Newy Solar did an excellent job. The knowledge shown and communications with ourselves ensured that the installation progressed without a hitch, during a very busy period. The installed (SigEnergy) solar/battery system is working very well for us and we have not imported from the grid since the installation work was completed (2 months). Excellent service and professional job by Newy Solar. We would definitely recommend Newy Solar (and have done to friends).
A great installation by great local installers. Alex and Ben designed and installed my system from scratch to a much older power board at my house. Despite the challenges presented by the old power system and a large barking dog, they got everything installed smoothly including totally replacing and upgrading my powerboard while they were at it. I know a few local solar companies, they all backed these guys as good. I picked these guys out of the bunch of trustworthy locals that stood out amongst the hundreds of fly-by-night mobs advertising everywhere. Easy to deal with, communicative and trustworthy, they even cleaned up the site as they left. Good operators, couldn't fault them and would recommend to anyone needing solar gear.

When a company claims to be the name in solar power for Newcastle, they set the bar pretty high. After the recent installation of our solar panels and battery system, we can confidently say that Newy Solar lives up to that claim. From our first conversation with Theo, through Alex’s thorough consultation and clear quotation, to the day Dean and Harry arrived for installation, we were impressed by the team’s professionalism, competence, and attention to detail. For people of a certain age, investing in solar and batteries can feel like a leap of faith, but Newy Solar removed any anxiety from the process. The whole team was considerate, purposeful, and communicated with us at every step. Even after installation, Alex followed up to ensure everything was working perfectly and that we were completely satisfied. We can’t recommend Newy Solar highly enough. A great job by a great team.
We contacted Alex from Newy Solar company and were very impressed with his knowledge and information regarding our interest in a solar battery system for our existing solar panels. Alex sent through the quote the same night we had our initial contact which we were vey happy with. A date and time of installation was agreed to. The install guys were here on time and did a fantastic job installing the 32kw system by Goodwe . They were very professional and left the work area in a very clean state. We can certainly recommend Newy Solar company if you are looking at panels and /or battery system. We have not used any grid power since installation!!
