We recently had a Fox battery system installed by Horan & Bird and were very impressed with the entire process. In addition, they were the most competitive within our catchment area. The installation team was professional, punctual and respectful of our property. They explained the system clearly, completed the work neatly and made sure everything was operating correctly before leaving. The Fox battery has performed extremely well so far, and the accompanying app is easy to use. It provides a clear overview of solar generation, household consumption, battery charge levels and energy being imported from or exported to the grid. Being able to monitor the system in real time has made it much easier to understand and manage our energy usage. Overall, we are very happy with both the installation and the performance of the Fox battery system. We would happily recommend Horan & Bird to anyone considering solar or battery storage.

Horan and Bird have again delivered the goods! In December 2025 we contacted Horan and Bird to design and install our battery/solar system. This is the third system H&B have installed for us! The challenge was it is in Hervey Bay. The system consisting of an 11KW North and West facing PV array, 10KW inverter, 38KWH battery and Tesla car charger. The job was contracted to Watkins Electrical who worked seamlessly with Horan and Bird for and excellent result. The system is delivering in buckets and spades, exceeding expectations. We would highly recomend Horan and Bird, their knowledge of Battery/Solar products is excellent. Thank you John Horan and Team!!!
