Cross Border Power

Cross Border Power is a family-run solar maintenance and repair business founded in March 2025 by Robbie Smith. The business has over 8 years of industry experience and is licensed in VIC and NSW. It serves Albury, Wodonga, and surrounding areas. Services include solar and battery, residential maintenance, new home electrical, commercial electrical, and data & CCTV. The business offers a 25 year workmanship guarantee.

Households and rural property owners across the Albury district feature prominently among those describing solar, battery and electrical projects completed by Cross Border Power, with Robbie the figure most often named in accounts of the work. Customers in several reviews describe detailed quoting that sets out multiple options, with pricing regarded as fair and competitive and repayment arrangements discussed openly.

Punctuality and reliability surface repeatedly, whether the task is a full solar and battery installation, an off-grid setup, or smaller electrical jobs such as power and data conduits, a shed fit-out or a replacement oven completed at short notice. Reviews time and again mention the neatness of the finished work, the tidiness of the site, and the willingness to return and make adjustments so systems run as intended.

Communication before, during and after the job is a point that comes up often, including assistance with monitoring apps so households can follow energy storage and savings. The depth of technical advice and the care taken to match a system to a home's real needs are noted by more than one reviewer. Robbie's friendly, polite manner and evident pride in his workmanship are also highlighted, along with his availability for follow-up questions well after completion.
