The first Battery World store opened in North Queensland in 1997, and the network has been operating for 28 years. I had a wonderful experience with this gentleman; unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. He kindly shared some of the best advice on how batteries work and how to maintain them, which was much appreciated, especially since I've had to replace my batteries four times since 2021. Awesome service. Went in with what we thought was a flat battery on our hire car key. Young gentleman checked it, cleaned the terminals and said it was not the battery. Great service, no charge. Well done Battery World.
There are many reasons why I go to speciality stores, whether individual one offs, or a locally owned franchise of a National brand. Battery World is one. A real BS free zone. Dead or dying battery - no problems. Expert advice, competitive price, ultra fast and friendly service. Less than 10 minutes start to finish. The last bunch of clowns put the wrong battery in (too small) and bent the holding bracket to make it fit. The gentleman at Battery World even sorted that out. I'm a return customer, and will certainly return again.
I was in a dilemma with a battery as dead as a dodo,I called at 8.30 am ,could not leave work,so a very capable and helpful fella came to my work,replaced my car battery,was able to take payment on the spot. After the stress of being stuck twice in one day with an unresponsive car,knowing my car would start that afternoon was such a relief. Great service,100 out of 100.
We bought a battery from Ryan at Battery World Tamworth. We purchased at 5.20pm one afternoon after our battery died at short notice whilst visiting Tamworth. We had a function to attend so Ryan offered to drop the battery at our hotel. Awesome service. Then, the next day the car actually started with the old battery so we took it to Ryan. He tested it and then removed and installed the new battery. He then reconfigured the car as a result of the reset due to the battery replacement. All with a smile and great sense of humour. This is service. Whilst it seems rare these days when you get this type of service it really is awesome. Well done and thank you Ryan.
Woke up to a dead battery in my '05 Ford Focus, got it jumpstarted and went to Battery World Tamworth. Very convenient as it was a Sunday morning, battery and fitting were cheaper then other options available. Battery was fitted quickly and efficiently.
