What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

I Want Energy handles solar, battery and electric vehicle charging work across Hobart, and the feedback gathered from customers centres on how carefully each stage is managed. Several reviewers describe the quoting process as a genuine education, with Ian and Alex walking households through panel types, inverter options, warranties and tariffs so the final design matched what the property actually needed, whether that meant an all-black array paired with a Tesla Powerwall or additional panels and storage added to a system already in place.

Installers are repeatedly described as polite, punctual and efficient, including a job that replaced panels more than a decade old and doubled capacity while adding a battery within one day. Sam and the crew are named for the standard of their workmanship, and a small software setting that needed adjustment was sorted without delay. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the smooth digital handling of documents from quote through to signing, along with clear explanations of the monitoring app that tracks generation and battery use. Months after commissioning, owners report systems running as intended and drawing on stored power through the evening.

fabulous service, we had a system already and IWantEnergy successfully added more panels and recently a battery It's all working brilliantly, we are running in the evening totally from our battery and still exporting some to the grid - just as we wanted it to operate, thanks !!

We recently had our solar system installed by I Want Energy and the entire process was excellent from start to finish. Ian was very informative and helpful from the very first contact, taking the time to clearly explain everything and making the process easy and stress-free. Sam and the installation team were professional, efficient, and completed the installation to a very high standard. We are extremely happy with the final result and highly recommend I Want Energy to anyone considering solar.
