Recently had a new Sigenergy system installed — 48kWh battery setup with a 30kW inverter and gateway — and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Chris and his team went above and beyond, especially managing to complete the installation before the rebate cut-off. They even upgraded my system from a 25kW inverter to a 30kW inverter at no extra cost, which was an awesome surprise. A big shoutout to the electrician, Cory, who took the time to explain the entire installation and walk me through how the system operates. What impressed me most was when he switched off the mains power during testing — I genuinely didn’t even realize the power had gone out because the system transitioned to off-grid mode so seamlessly. The whole experience was professional from start to finish, and the quality of the installation was outstanding. Highly recommend these guys if you’re considering a new solar and battery setup.
Eastcoast energy solutions installed my solar system in October 2022 and batteries late 2025. They offer competitive prices compared to other installers and they are a Cairns based company. I have had several issues with my system and they have replaced one of my Fronius inverters under warranty. I understand they are busy and it can take some time to get a response. However, they have been very good with providing ongoing care years after the initial installation. Overall, if you're based in Cairns I would recommend going with this business.
Having East Coast Energy Solutions be our solar provider was a brilliant decision. From the first contact through to install, everyone on their team was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, responsive to any query (and believe me, I had lots!), and most of all, I felt that I was given the most thorough and personal consideration for our energy needs. Their pricing for our system was competitive with the other quotes but even from the first communication with Jon I knew I found the right provider. In their service they included a very important site visit which other providers didn't seem to think was necessary, but I thought it was a critical part of the planning. Everything relating to Ergon was handled seamlessly, I didn't have to worry about a thing in terms of paperwork. The crew that installed the system worked all day and I so appreciated their physical labour of having to get up and down a ladder carrying solar panels. At the end of a long day, we had this new magic battery stack next to the house. Nothing compares to the thrill of being able to harness one's own power from the sun, pretty incredible really! But I now know first hand how much hard work goes into making this a reality and I am very grateful to everyone at ECES for the fabulous job they did at our rural property on the Tablelands. Thank you again and I will sing your praises to everyone. Not meaning to be crude, but I really do think the sun shines from your you know where, and I mean it in the best possible way!
An amazing service from Jon who gave me all the information I needed, and a good range of different priced recommendations, to the helpful admin staff, and Ricky and his exceptional team who installed the solar panels and battery.
