Central West Pump Service

Central West Pump Service has served the Mid West region of Western Australia since 2003. The company was established in 2003 as a partnership between directors Ben Mardon and Tim Scrivener. In 2023, the business was restructured, and Ben Mardon now operates as sole director. Ben Mardon is the Manager and electrical mechanic, while Lilli Patience is an Apprentice Electrical Mechanic.

The company is a GOPP supplier, offering discounts and bulk billing for Geraldton's primary producers. It specialises in the sales and installation of solar bore hole pumps, and can install bore pumps to depths of up to 150 metres. It stocks and supplies brands such as Grundfos, Onga, Franklin Electric, Dabb and Nastec pumps. Pump servicing and repairs are offered with a regular turnaround of 24 hours on most repairs. Services include pump sales, installations and repairs.

Households and property owners around Geraldton bring pump and pool problems to this business, and the feedback describes prompt, efficient help at a reasonable price. Ben is named for his professional, experienced manner and the honest advice he gives. One account tells of a bore fault attended the following day, with the right tools and parts on hand so that water was restored within hours.

A second describes an old pool pump that was tested before replacement was advised, followed by help getting the new unit ready and installed. The work sits alongside agricultural service, electrical, plumbing supply, irrigation equipment and swimming pool repairs.
