The consultant (Joey) was friendly and knowledgeable, carefully assessed our current setup and usage before making recommendations and helping us decide. He went above and beyond to ensure some necessary changes were made to our home wiring was completed before the date of installation. The installation was able to be done a little before the original estimate and their staff were always nice to deal with. The installers themselves were friendly and professional and did a great job removing our old battery and neatly installing a new Sigenergy battery and gateway which we are very happy with!
I had contact from a host of solar panel installers but in the end, it was only Best Solar & Batteries who visited and assessed the job on site. They were not the cheapest quote but they had their own installers and provided a 10 year warranty on installation and materials. I reckoned any extra charge was buying peace of mind. I always understood there was a ten week wait between paying the deposit and the arrival of installers but what was irritating was I had made it clear at the outset that I did not want a battery but did require a time switch to have hot water heated by solar. Despite repeated reminders there had to be a late recalculation of the quote to include the switch. When the installers arrived there were two of them who worked all day. They were happy to make the minor adjustments to the panel mountings I requested and mounted the inverter on an inside wall and included updated switches in my existing switchbox. I was fully briefed on the operation of the switch box and had monitoring software installed on phone and PC. The electrician left well after dark. It is now 3 weeks since installation and the equipment has operated faultlessly. I now await a meter upgrade from the electricity retailer and a new plan to benefit from the equipment.

Best Solar and Batteries: all staff knowledgable answered all my questions, installed on time and the installers and installation of solar system and batteries - perfect.
